Hi guys, I’m finally back with a new review on the latest cleansing powder wash from Wishtrend.

bywishtrend_greenteaenzymepowderwash_main

I have an opportunity to test out the green tea & enzyme powder wash before the actual launching date, which is 10th November 2017 (CST).    So the testing duration has taken for 3 weeks, and so far, I love it!

Some main ingredients in this new product:

Green tea powderGreen Tea is a powerful antioxidant, rich in vitamins such as vitamin A, C, and E. Due to its relaxing effect from the comforting fragrance, it is a popular ingredient in K-beauty for calming and improving skin tone. These are effective in incense oxidation and skin purification.

PapainEliminates proteolytic enzymes, old keratin, and skin wastes to improve the skin texture. Dissolves enzymes without irritation for exfoliation.

Sodium bicarbonate (baking soda)Works as a soft and gentle scrub agent, is an excellent ingredient for removing blackheads and improving skin texture. This helps for the improvements in acne-prone skin. This compound is also excellent for deep penetrating and cleansing the pores.

Amino acid surfactantsA weak acidic surfactant derived from coconut. Great skin-affinity and excellent moisture retention. Low irritant and has excellent moisturizing effect without creating much foam.

Precautions

1) Do not use along with other skin care products that have exfoliating effects (retinol, high concentration vitamin C, AHA/BHA, etc.)
2) Wash with lukewarm water (35-45°C) for enzyme activation.
3) Be sure to keep the lid tightly closed, and store in a dry area.

  1. About the packaging:

The packaging is simple in nice pastel green color. Since the product is in the powder type, this kind of packaging is a bit hard to control the amount that we want to use. But anyway, hopefully, in the future, they will upgrade their packaging.

2. The product – Green tea & enzyme powder wash

I have been using this powder wash every night, and so far, I love it. The powder has a light beige green color, with fine texture, and it also has a light scent of green tea. When I washed it with lukewarm water, the texture turned milky – easy to massage all over the face, and there was not a lot of bubbles. I’ve heard that if a cleanser contains too much bubbles, that means that product might dry out our skin.

I have an oily to sometimes… dry skin, so it’s kinda combination. But these day, when I don’t usually experience break out, my skin tends to secret oil during the day time and dries out during the night time. However, the green tea and enzyme powder wash doesn’t irritate or dry out my skin since now the weather is much colder and dry!

If you seek out to find a mild powder wash, this is a great product to try out!

Overal: 4/5 – I definitely stick with this, but still looking forward for a better version!
